The inaugural Neon Open BJJ Gi and No Gi Tournament!

Neon Martial Arts and Fitness proudly presents the Neon Open BJJ Gi & NoGi Championship which will take place at Testlands Hub, Southampton on 13th May 2023.

We will be running both Gi and No-Gi divisions!

The Gi competition is open to all Junior belts and White, Blue, and Purple belt Adult/Masters/Seniors divisions. The No Gi competition will operate in a similar manner.

The event will be contested under standard IBJJF rules times (5 minutes for white belts & masters, 6 for Blue belts, and 7 minutes for Purple belts.).

This event is capped initially at 300 competitors.

Pricing: –

Adult, Masters & Seniors

Special Early Bird Price= £30 for one division, £40 for 2 Divisions (runs until 28th February 2023!)

Normal Registration £40 for one division, £50 for 2 divisions (runs until 1st May 2023)

Late Registration £50 for one division, £60 for 2 divisions (runs until close of entries on 5th May 2023)

Kids/Juveniles

Special Early Bird Price=  £25 for one division, £35 for 2 divisions (runs until 28th February 2023!)

Normal Registration £35 for one division, £45 for 2 divisions (runs until 1st May 2023)

Late Registration £45 for one division, £55 for 2 divisions (runs until close of entries on 5th May 2023)

Spectators will be charged £5 on the door.

NOTE: There will be 1 adult spectator ticket FREE per Kid/Juvenile/Teens entry (Please make yourself known at the weigh in. You will only receive 1 adult spectator even if your child registers for more than one division. 

The divisions are: –

White belt (or less than 18 months experience, IBJJF white belt rules, 5 minute matches)

Blue belt (or between more than 18 months and less than 36 months experience, IBJJF blue belt rules, 6 minute matches)

Purple belt (or those who have grappled for more than 36 months but less than 60 months uses IBJJF , 6 minute matches)

There will be Masters divisions for all competitors aged between 30 and 39 inclusive and a Seniors division for competitors who are aged 40 or over. All masters and seniors matches are 5 minutes long at white, blue and purple.
